OUTDOOR CATALOG

This is my largest annual project, where I design a 100+ page catalog showcasing the latest selections from Ashley Furniture’s outdoor collections. A great deal of planning goes into creating this book—from the market team deciding which products will move forward for the next season to developing copy for each piece in the collection.

Once the team finalizes the photoshoot plans on location, we collaborate on layout concepts and visual direction. After the photos are completed, I review them and submit retouching requests, while also handling some of the editing and color correction myself. Some images require minimal adjustments, while others are more heavily retouched to refine the environment.

I work closely with print vendors to see the project through production—discussing print specifications, binding options, paper finishes, print quantities, color tests, and all the details in between. Although this project involves many moving parts and an extensive timeline, it remains one of my favorite and most rewarding projects to complete each year.
